Love how he compliments all of them, but then afterwards he gives out how the characters sound, so he's encouraging them AND giving them tips! This man is a legend I say!

this is why I don't like dubbed anime lol. I prefer the original 'feeling' of the characters cause in the end of the day, the voice actors in other language referred the original.

Me too, I grew up watching SpongeBob in Latin Spanish and it’s kinda weird seeing it in English, but at least I was mind blown when I discovered Tom was also Patchy the Pirate♥️
I just love his personality. I love how he’s just naturally funny, and I really like how he’s also trying to teach how to do a voice.
He's like a chameleon, Kenny. He's able to adapt to a character, and put his own personal spin on it. It's mind boggling.

Tom Kenny virtually is Spongebob. I don’t think I’ve heard a single impression that was on par with Kenny’s performance, although there have been a few fairly accurate ones, too. But nobody has the exact same nasal timbre as his performance. If Tom Kenny left the show or died tomorrow, there would absolutely be no more Spongebob.

I get most impressed when he sings in the voices. Cuz normal singing is already hard and thus man has to continue while constantly altering his voice. What a legend
Case in point, Vincent Martella and Rob Paulsen.
It’s interesting seeing the real voice actor give thoughts on other people’s impressions of his characters!

I had a video production teacher a couple years ago who legit sounded exactly like squidward (same attitude and all) he once asked my brother why he was "just sitting there doing nothing" and my bro, like the comedian he is, replied "The magic conch told me to."
I love that even if the impressions aren’t the best he is still so kind and encouraging 💕

The fact that I remember the characters having different voices is an understatement of how talented his role in voice acting is.

The one thing I’ll say about the second Ice king impression is that Tom forgot that in the first ice king episode, that was how Tom voiced the character. And it was pretty dang accurate for that iteration

I swear man can voiceover an entire show and it be good.
personally, one of my favourite roles Tom Kenny has had was as starscream in transformers: animated. He kinda reminds me of the mayor in that role with how starscream's personality is.
tom is such a gigantic part of my childhood and its crazy to think hes been doing this for over 20 years.
He looks exactly like someone who sounds like Spongebob.

YungeenDee- it’s also not everyone has the same voice so it’s not necessarily the voice equipment I think it has to do with the fact that different voices make different noises so of course there impressions all won’t sound the same
